BMR and fmp recommended calorie intake don't match
Why does fmp want me to eat 1200 base calories but when I went to tool on fmp it states that my bmr is 1533? Should I be eating 1200 or 1533 as base calories? Thanks with your help and clarification

Why increase calorie intake with exercise
I am confused why you need to eat more calories if you work out?? Is that not why we work out to get rid of calories.

I am new to fitness pal and I am confused about how the calorie thing work. They stated that I should be on a 1200 calorie diet to reach my weight goal. However, when I workout the calories that I worked off the program says I should eat more then. Is that correct? Won't I just maintain my weight then???
