NHS De registering as Diabetic
has anyone experienced this or come across any information about the policy to de register diabetics if their hba1c levels do not fall within the diabetic range 6.5 and above - from what i understand it excludes you from the annual screening programs that are routinely offered

How does the hbA1c test result compare to the results you get from a blood glucose test monitor. For example what does an hbA1c result of 6% mean in terms of a daily average blood glucose test result?? Is there a way of performing this calcuation?

if steroids taken several weeks prior to HBa1c test is this likely give rise to a diagnosis of diabetes?
