So I did step aerobics this morning and then went on a 2 1/2 hour brisk hike in the mountains with my family. Am I supposed to eat 1800 calories for dinner so I don't go into starvation mode?

I won a session with a personal trainer at my gym. She suggested a specific workout that involves a set with weights/machines alternating with 1 minute of step on a 6 inch step.
