So I stepped on scales this morning and it said I'd lost 4 pounds...(smiles).....but when I updated my chart, the ticker says only lost 1 pound. Why?

Exercise calories
I do not understand why if you are trying to lose weight you would want to eat the calories you just exercised off. Is that not defeating to purpuse?
