Should I do More Cardio
Hi everyone! I have been exercising a lot with weights about 4-5 days and cardio 1-2 times a week and using MFP consistently for 2 weeks now. I am glad I took measurements when I started because I have lost an inch in my waist, my lower stomach and and thighs which is awesome, but I am still the same weight. I do go over a…

How do you stay motivated?
Ugh I get so sick and tired of entering in things everyday it seems so tedious. How do you stay motivated to keep going with the practice of MFP? I find that I can do it for couple weeks at a time but then i go off for a week, I usually maintain by trying to just eye out portions, but when I stick to MFP I can lose weight…

Meal prep question
I'm just wondering about a few things: Say you want to meal prep for 5 days and you make steamed veggies or a baked sweet potato for example, do you freeze them, or is just refrigeration ok even for 5 days? Also, what if you work at a place that does not have a microwave, if you had frozen something, would it be ok by…

HRM and calorie goal question
I have the polar FT4 with chest strap. I was curious to see if anyone has ever used their HRM all day to see how many calories they actually burned on a normal non-exercise day to determine how many calories they should eat to lose weight, It was just a thought, idk if it's silly lol, but thought I'd throw it out there…

1 day high calorie in two months helps weight loss?
I have steadily lost about a pound a week for 10 weeks, I eat at 1200 calories (i'm only 5') and eat half to 75% of my exercise calories usually. Three days ago I had a day where I ate most likely 1800-2000 calories (I didn't log I was embarrassed I know I should have but it would have been an estimation anyways lol).…

potatoes weighed less when baked
When logging in potatoes do you weigh the amount before you bake them or after? Sorry if this is a dumb question haha but I just got a food scale, and I was previously just using a cup measure. But I weighed the whole potato wedges first to get an idea of the portion size as I was making them for two, and after I baked…

Impressed with MFP
So it's been a month since I started using MFP and for the most part I recorded everything, and I've lost 8 pounds. I've gained an understanding of what a real portion size is and how many calories are in certain things I like, which tends to then steer me away from them lol. Do you all think that is pretty good? 2 pounds…
