Back Fat After -40lbs
I see women like me (who struggle with back fat) on here all the time looking for before and after back results. It is not easy to get rid of this problem area, but it can happen! I was a "big boned" kid who turned into an obese teen. In my family, I was often the butt of many jokes (they were insensitive, thin people who…

Feeling sick after too many carbs?
I have been doing a moderate protein/high fat version of low carbing and have been getting really great results. Long story short, it has been quite some time since I have eaten more than 40ish carbs in one day. My family and I were having a particularly hectic day of errands and I just did not have it in me to wait so…

Progress Pic (same outfit -20lbs)
My husband has really been inspired watching the changes I have made (exercising, eating healthier, new views on health, ect), so he has even started joining me on my walks. Today, he took a picture of me walking with our son and, for the first time in a long time, I actually liked it. Usually, pictures are painful to me.…

Ladies (that lift heavy) any tips for a noob?
I have literally been walking my a** off, but I am worried about all the loose skin that will be left behind. I have a terribly week core and can't even do 1 push up on my toes. I can manage dips, a 10lb. kettle bell, and 20lb. dumbbell rows. That is about it. I still have at least 30lbs to lose. I can't stand how flappy…

Finally out from under that cloud...
For my ticker, I had chose the little running woman icon with the rainy cloud & rainbow scene. Pound after pound, I have watched that little woman move a bit closer to the rainbow. Today I realized that my running woman is finally out from under the rain cloud and almost at the half way point to my goal. It was…

Body weight exercises after c section
November will make 2 years since my c section. This is the first time I am really working those muscles (flutter kicks, planking, ect). Has anyone else experienced pain (like your stomach is going to explode) when trying to do anything with your abdominal muscles after a c section?

NSV!
I can now run 2 miles without stopping. It takes me 15mins a mile, but I blame that on the couple of hills in my neighborhood. Another NSV for the day... Yesterday, as I was huffing and puffing up the hardest hill on my route, someone yelled something hurtful at me as they drove by. I decided not to let it bother me and to…

Anyone like blending fruit in water?
Does anyone else do this? I have started blending fruit with a little stevia into a mason jar full of water (blending with food processor). It gets 3 of my glasses of water and 1 serving of fruit out of the way 1st thing in the morning. It makes me feel alert, refreshed, full, and ready to have a healthy day. I even got my…
