I am close to amherst in Buffalo. We did get hit by the storm, but only a couple feet of snow. Downtown Buffalo got hit the most, along with some of the towns close by. I posted my pic but forgot to add stats lol. I am 5'5'' and went from 217lbs. to 177lbs. so far. My goal is 165lbs plus lots of tone. I eat low carb and lift weights.

All day, every day! FAT IS NOT EVIL! I eat 2-4 TBS butter and 4 TBS cream every day! Plus cheese and nuts <3

LOL I should have explained that the bathroom door was only slightly cracked and he could smell my puke all the way through the hall into our bedroom. I also had the bathroom window open, so you can imagine how powerful/terrible the smell was.

Nope, not the flu. in fact, I just had my physical last week and got a flu shot. I thought this was all pretty strange, so I guess I was just wondering if anything similar has happened to anyone else. Thank you for the well wishes! I am feeling better and better as time goes by. I am not a stress-sickness type. I basically never get sick and I have not puked in like 2 years (morning sickness during pregnancy).

I have been eating low carb high fat and have lost almost 40 lbs now. Best thing that has ever happen to me and my whole family. Just had my blood work done and got great levels across the board. For the first time in my life since literally middle school, I am no longer obese. I will NEVER go back to a carb filled diet.

Thanks for the reply. My husband and I ate the same thing and he did not get sick. I also got a headache and felt a bit light headed off and on. I am starting to feel a lot better now, but I was in bad shape for a few hours. I ate about 200g of carbs today. I think dehydration may have also played a part in the headache…

I am on Keto too. Sometimes, if I eat too much in one sitting, I get sleepy too. I have not thought twice about it tho, because when I ate tons of carbs I always felt tired after eating. Maybe smaller portions spread throughout the day? Good Luck.

I should mention that I currently only own a 10lb kettle bell and (2) 20lb. Dumbbells. Any tips on how to do this with minimal equipment (I am willing to buy easy to store items)? Thanks :wink:

OMG me too. I have slowed down a little so I can focus on kettle bell and jogging too. I love taking my son out in his stroller and just walking 1-3hrs at a time (I pack drinks and snacks for us). The most I have ever done in one day is 8 miles.

I think it has to do with the fear meeting/going slightly over the 1200 and then just losing control. Will power comes easier to some than others and it has to be built stronger every day. I understand, it can be anxiety inducing :cry:

Skinless chicken (light or dark meat, doesn't matter) cooked in olive oil. Eat that with a serving of brown rice and veggies.

We were busy today and I had not eaten much, so when my husband stopped to get himself a couple burgers, I got the 4pc. Mcnugget to go with a pk. of pistachios and a coke zero I had picked up at the store while running errands.

I am down! I love going out for long walks with the baby in the stroller (when the weather does not rain us out). I also do little jogs. I jogged 2 miles yesterday, so 98 miles to go :noway: :happy:

I grew up with a mom like this and that is why I am now on mfp and my son loves all fruits and veggies (even broccoli).
