I got myself an exercise bike and for the first 3 days I burned about 400 calories a day. But then I read on a forum on here that apparently doing more than 30 minutes cardio a day makes your body produce some chemical that makes you retain carbs?? Is that true? Weight gain and contraception.
Just wondering if any one else has this same problem. Does this sound right to you?
I'm a woman weighing 170lbs, 5'5ft. Apparently, to lose weight, I can eat 1680 calories a day?! That sounds like far too much, whenever I've dieted in the past it's always been 1200!

Best exercise DVDs for beginners?
I want to start doing exercise,just wondering if any one knows of a good beginners dvd. I'm a student so I can't really afford a gym membership
