Hi all, I've decided to try Stronglift 5x5 for the first time today. I've never used free weights before or considered strength training before. Any tips or helpful hints for a lifting beginner? Thank you, Scott

Hi all, So, today at work someone asked how much weight I've lost. I told her, 30 pounds. Her reply was, "Wow, that's all? I thought it was more like a 100 pounds." Not sure how to take it....glad someone noticed the slimming down but a hundred pounds difference? Geeze, I must have looked a lot bigger before. Scott
