I am familiar with the common guidelines regarding the minimum number of Calories to remain healthy, usually given as 1200 for women and 1800 for men. The problem that I see with this is that it does not account for height at all! I think it is only logical for a guy who's 5'6" to consume far fewer Calories than a guy…
I just ran my first 5K (really 2.95 miles, but close enough) in about 16 years and I feel great! That's half my age ago! My thanks go out to MFP, the supportive people here, and everyone who posted their C25K successes which helped inspire me.
