Ran my 1st 5K!
I accomplished another one of my goals, and ran a 5K race at the Chicago Blackhawks Training Camp Festical this past weekend. I finished in a respectable 30:15. I'm very happy with that, considering I could barely job a half mile 6 weeks ago. I'm still not even close to my daughter's time, but that's what goals are for!

1st goal reached!
Well, I was 6 HOURS late on reaching my under 200lbs goal by 9/1, but I made it! Couldn't have done it w/o MFP and these forums, that's for sure. After hitting a plateau mid August while concentrating on cardio, I'm really losing the weight and inches again after hitting weights harder. Do what works!!

Guys...do you lose weight faster doing more cardio or more h
I'm hardly doing any cardio. About an hour a week total between riding a bike and indoor eliptical. 3 days a week I'm lifting heavy, hard, and low reps. I'm dropping an average of 4 lbs a week though. Does anyone hit a plateau like this, or should I just keep what I'm doing and enjoy the weight loss? Thanks!

6 weeks after starting fitnesspal, I've shed 23 pounds rather easily. I'm not following any diet at all. Just eating whatever I want, and eat all day, as long as I stay within my calorie limits. No depravation. And still get to enjoy ice cream and other summer treats! This app makes it so easy and fun. Aiming for 45 pounds…
