I see standard bicycling on the drop down list of cardio exercises but not electric bike. A study two years ago indicated it is about 80% of regular bike ride caloric burn. Somewhere around 444 calories an hour for 180 lb dude.

I've been wondering about the comment on the Food tab after entering aerobic exercise: "You've earned 635 extra calories from exercise today" Is it really true? Could I eat a Pepperoni, cheese & tomato pizza (1000 calories) if I did the equivalent exercise to burn off the calories?
Objective is my college weight (170lbs) ... 2 lbs under max BMI. I have always worked out a lot but the follow on hunger has ruined my many attempts for a slender me. Turning 60 next month so I'd like to begin my next year with a BANG. All help and suggestions welcome. GLTA!
