Alternating JM dvds
I would really like to do body revolution, but it is pretty expensive, so I have decided to alternate between Ripped in 30, Extreme Shed and Shred, and No More Trouble Zones. I want to alternate so I don't get bored. Does anyone else do this with her dvds, and how have your results been?

Ab etching
I have noticed that a few of the girls in Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 dvd have their abs etched. That is when a plastic surgeon basically carves a six pack in to your abdominal fat. I can tell that's what they have because, while they are fit, they are not fit enough to have a six pack. You can see their abs, yet they…

Working vs SAHM?
Do you think it would be easier to stay thin as a working mom or a stay at home mom? Before I got pregnant with my son, I worked in a doctor's office and lost about 15ls within two months of working there. Now that I am a SAHM, I have to workout a lot and try to eat right just to be at the same weight I was when I was…

Confidence for a bikini
I took my kids to the pool yesterday for the first time this year. The night before, I went out and bought a really cute tankini because the one I have from last year makes me look pregnant. I have decided that I will not be wearing a bikini anytime soon because I am still pretty self conscious about my tummy. I have a…

Weight Lifting Question
I am a woman, and I lift weights 4 days a week, two days of shoulders and triceps and two days of back and biceps. I also do various squats and lunges. Anyway, I have heard of alternating light days and heavy days, and I just want to know if that's a good idea and what the benefits are. I am pretty toned, but would not…

Itchy Legs!
I usually do cardio on my elliptical, but every now and then I like to get out and jog with my son in the stroller. I have great endurance and could keep at a pretty steady pace for a while if it were not for my damn legs becoming incredibly itchy about 5 minutes into my jog. It is so frustrating and I just don't know what…

Jealous Spouse/Partner
I have been noticing what seems to be jealousy, or possibly resentment, from my husband over the fact that I am diligent about exercising. I devote 30-45 minutes in the morning, before anyone wakes up, and about an hour in the afternoon everyday to exercise. It makes me feel great and is one of the only things I really do…

Low BP okay?
My blood pressure has always been really good(110/70ish), but lately It has dropped significantly. It is usually higher early in the day(around 100/60), but by evening it is around 95/55. My pulse has also gone down to around 55bpm resting. I just want to know if this is okay in the absence of any problems related to…

Probiotics: Yay or nay?
I wasn't sure what forum this question would fit best in, so I just picked this one. Anyway, I just want to know what your feelings are on probiotics. How many of you take them, and what prompted you to start? Have you had GI symptoms(gas, bloating, diarrhea, constipation) that were relieved by using probiotics, or have…

What weight is right for me?
I want to know how much weight I should be lifting. Like, how do I know if it is the right amount for what I want to accomplish? I use free weights at home(gym is not an option), and have been doing so fro over a year. I just increased the weight I lift, because I was doing 3 sets of 15-18 reps, but found out that it is…

A Question For the Ladies
I want to know, for those of you who shave from the waist down, how long it takes to get it done. It used to take me damn near an hour, but I've managed to cut back to 20 minutes. I have even heard some girls say it takes 'em 5 minutes for everything, and they do it in the shower. I wonder how you can really get everything…

Unhappy with MFP diaries
So, I tried logging my food and exercise in the diaries on MFP, and I have become very discouraged. As far as the food diary goes, it always says I eat too much fiber and too many carbs. I know I eat a lot of carbs, but I have been eating like this the whole time I've been losing weight, so I don't see the problem. And I…

Is 120 too skinny for me?
I am 5'5" and weigh 125lbs. My first goal, when I was 155, was to get down to 135lbs. I have a fairly large frame and I always look less than I weigh. Well, I got there, and then decided 125 would be perfect. Now that I am 125, I'm thinking I could go down to 120lbs. I have a lot of muscle, and am very thin on top. My only…

Are Carbs Inherently Bad?
I have been noticing here that many people believe that carbs are really bad for you. They think consuming them leads to lots of weight gain. Well, I am a bit confused because I have a very high carb diet and have steadily been losing weight for the last six months. I eat cereal every day for breakfast(fiber one raisin…

Do I Workout Too Much?
I am a stay at home mom of a five year old girl and a one year old boy. Recently, my husband(who does not work out at all) has expressed concern that I spend too much time exercising. I thought about it and tried to come up with ways I could cut back, but I have not found any. I just love working out so much, and I also do…

Starving After Dinner
For about two or three months i have had this problem where, about 20 minutes after eating a very full, nutritious dinner, I become very hungry. I literally get hunger pangs that feel like I haven't eaten in days. The only time I feel this way is after dinner, unless I eat something more fattening, then I'm fine. I can't…

How to Maintain and Not Gain
I have finally reached my weight loss goal of 125lbs. It was originally 135lbs(with a SW of 150), but I got there and decided to go further. I feel like if I lose more weight I will look too thin, plus I have very defined shoulders which make me look even thinner. I consume about 2000 calories a day give or take, and…
