Hip bursitis ???
So, back in January, I went to a hip specialist (I should have gone to a sports med. dr., oops!), and he said that I had hip bursitis and that I should "rest." NSV! Yay!
I am so excited!!! I started my journey (again) 2 months ago. I LOVE running, even though I'm not that fast. I did a 10k a month ago and my 5k split was 39:40. Today I did a 5k, and my time was 36:47. I'm down 13lbs since the 10k...I can't wait to see what I run in November when I do an 8k!!! I know it's a small…

I'm looking for support! I've got about 70 lbs I want to lose starting out. I've really got into running, and will be running (or maybe I should say jogging) my 2nd 10k on the 13th. I love to help motivate...and I definitely need the same. Who's with me?

It's time to win this battle
I'm new here...at least on the community side of it. I've been the drop out for so many years. I'm not sure what finally clicked, but after running a 10k last spring, and an 8k in the fall, I'm ready to be healthier, faster, and stronger.
