My heart rate is elevated because of medication I take. Therefore, my heart rate when I'm working out (or resting) is higher than "normal." Intuitively, I think that would change the calories I burn based on heart rate... any idea on how I could accurately determine calories burned? Thanks!

I've started the Insanity program and I love it. However... when doing the circuit training, I'm not sure what my heart rate should be when I recover... or in general. I did some online research, but didn't find a consensus. Any tips would be appreciated.
