I see on chips/pretzels/snacks it says 1 ounce is 110 cal then says 23 pieces?? Now I weighed aboout ten pieces and it weighed about a ounce?? So I'm confused as to why it says 23 pieces?? Lol.…

HI every one!! Here's my issue lol. When I add a recipe to mfp I get confused cause I'm not sure how many servings/how many cal per serving etc to put for whatever I'm cooking. Can some one please help me?? Example would be turkey chilli or bake ziti in a regular big pot/pan.
