Most of it is water weight. The first few weeks are usually a lot of water retention fluctuations, so don't freak out if you lose or gain 5lbs really quickly.2 -

I probably burned more, a walk my elderly neighbors shepherd who is also elderly. I had to carry him the way back, but he does enjoy our hour long, very leisurely stroll.6
