The only thing I spend a lot of money on are my running shoes and socks: improper fitting shoes can causea lot of problems, running in less than awesome socks and I blister my feet. Everything else is what ever I feel like and is clean. I do recommend actual running/workout tights and not regular leggings as many leggings…

Start with walking. Take dedicated walks every day. Start with either a set time or distance, do that every day until it's easy. Then increase pace but keep the time or distance consistent. Once you can easily walk 2 miles in 30 minutes, start a program like C25K if you want to start running. Also, no need to join a gym.…

There is no rule stating that anyone has to actually eat the whole meal ordered. My trick with a 2000 calorie meal: order the meal and ask for a to-go box, when the meal arrives, I cut it in half and put half the meal in the box for the next day.

~200lbs down. My diet: eat what I normally eat, just smaller portions so that I stay in my calorie budget. That's it.

Caldo de Pollo!

Abs. I'm Latina and have the stereotypical Latina butt, so it's already pretty good without extra workouts.

I absolutely would use products with those ingredients.... I was a Microbiology major/Chemistry minor 20 years ago. Side note: there are very few chemicals that I cannot pronounce, except for the molecule Aluminum (don't know why but can't say that word so I use the British pronounciation: aluminium). I also know one…

All the time!!!!! "Oh this is a cute top....let's see the sizes....XXL, XL, L, L,......nope no smalls grrrrt" I get the added bonus of being very small chested aka women's blouses have too much boob rooom now. My advice: ask an associate for help, they'll help you figure out what actually looks good on you.

With a fork. I add some red onions and olives to my salads so no need for dressing for more flavor.

Eat what you normally eat, but smaller portions. Just eat less.

No one told me how confusing clothes shopping would be. What looks good when obese does not look good on a size 6 (not even a little bit), even my old hair styles look odd on a smaller frame. Also, the whole world of nearly every store carrying your size can be a bit overwhelming.

Coconut water is gross.

Sometimes it takes a lot longer for your brain to catch up to your body. I still look at my jeans (4/6L depending on brand, I'm 5'7") in disbelief that they actually fit, but they do.

The price sounds about right. Just be sure that it covers post-op (some do, some don't) so you don't get a cost jump with additional appointments. Also, the comments about the results being "lumpy", is very accurate. My "lumpyness" is almost gone, but it can take months to a year or more for that to go away. Lipo can be…

@katie1234 .....as I stated prior on that I did have liposuction. Remember, liposuction IS SURGERY, that means anesthesia and a surgeon. That means it can run several thousand on its own. If a "doctor" is offering lipo for significantly less RUN!!!!! Make sure that any cosmetic procedure is done by a licensed PLASTIC…

@redroses098 Yes I have. Full on freaky cankles water retention! Cause: massive change in diet and workout, compounded by my monthly water retention aka period. It took about a month to fully go away on its own. Overhauling eating and exercise routines can freak your body out a bit, it's perfectly normal. If the retention…

So far I'm down about 200lbs by just eating less. Over time I've developed healthier eating habits, but never felt deprived because I never gave up any foods. Much less stressful.

I had liposuction when I had my tummy-tuck. Turns out that fat loss isn't only uneven on the body as a whole, but also uneven side to side. I had the lipo done in order to even out my flanks. As I had it done with a tummy-tuck, I'm not sure about the difference in appearance, but I can tell you that the lipo areas healed a…

Yep. Had to take time off for stress. Needed a break from everything.

Eat less. You can't spot reduce. Just eat at a calorie deficit for weight loss. Cardio for cardiovascular health, weight training for musculature.

Like this? It's "fruit salad".....with ice cream.

At a 36A.... You are in bralette territory. Basically the stores that cater to teen girls - that's where your new bra size is. I'm at a 34AA (at most), and wear a size small in bralettes. You gotta go to your new lingerie section. No more shopping in the women's and misses departments. The bralette section at Walmart has a…

Tacos do not discriminate between days of the week, we shouldn't force our archaic and biased views on tacos. Every night is taco night!!! 😋🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮

Personally I set multiple goals. Weight & activity. They are either time or specific, but not both. I race myself on 5ks I try to beat previous bests every month, but only to be faster than before, not hit any specific time. I also have a 5lb weight goal, but no time frame as I'm now in the "normal" weight range, I know…
