Squatting to just past parallel is fine. ATG is a waste of energy. 135 for 20? Why so many reps? You're probably getting gassed. And no, no machine will work like a squat.3 -

calorie counters based on heart rate is also an estimate, and often a poor one. Go with the one you think underestimates. It's probably closer to the truth.1
