Well this challenge is a challenge with yourself. The challenge is for you to win in the fight against "The Binge". Many of us struggle with binging and a few of us have found that making "The Binge" a person has helped us fight the emotions or urge to binge.
The objective of the challenge is to have more days for you (Me) than the "The Binge".
When you have a day you do not succumb to binge urges or binge give yourself (ME) a point. When you give in to the urge to binge you give 'The Binge" a point. No beating yourself up about it because tomorrow is another day. Honesty with yourself is crucial for it to help you and others.
So we keep score with ourselves the whole month. We encourage each other along the way. Please feel free to share your ups, downs, successes, struggles, etc. You will find you are not alone. See below for format. Feel free to use it or use your own format. This Challenge keeps you mindful of binging and the daily support and accountability helps also.
Check in often. The more you check and share the better you will do for the month. So are you in? You are stronger than “The Binge.” One day at a time.

Had an amazing vacation! Too nervous to weigh myself (didn't binge but definitely indulged) so just going to get back into good eating habits and once I have a week or so under my belt, I'll brave the scale. I just need time to get the confidence that I still have this under control, so that the scale doesn't get me all discouraged. But I already have stuff in the crockpot and meals ready to go for the week so it's a good start!5 -

Not off to a great start, but it's getting easier to move on from the binge and try again the next day. Trying to identify a trigger also helps some. It's just really hard to tell myself 'no' when I'm not feeling great physically or emotionally. It often feels like I'm keeping so many balls in the air that the act of letting go of control during a binge is as comforting as the food itself. I guess that means I need to control my need to control, lol!5 -
Welcome everyone!!

Thanks @KnitOrMiss ! I ended up braving the scale already because I didn't want to get into "out of sight, out of mind" mode. I gained what I lost before vacation but I'm not too worried. I'm sure it's mostly water weight so it should come off fast.
@COGypsy - It's awesome that you're finding it easier to start over after a binge! For me I think that was the first step- getting to a point where my binges would last just a day (or a "meal") instead of one binge prompting at least week or two of daily binging. Once that became my new norm, it started getting easier to avoid binges all together. But I'm the same way where sometimes I'm so pent-up and overwhelmed that just letting one thing go, such as the stress of trying to stay in control, feels like a relief, so I go through phases where I won't binge for a long time, and then I'll binge several days in a row. I also think that's why a lot of people, myself included, can binge on just about anything- it's not always about the food itself.3 -
