    Hi!

Went to bed early last night, but woke up a few hours after, with an earache and have been awake ever since. Feeling pretty crappy and ear is still bugging me although not as bad while I'm upright. DH had to go to the office today and he will swing by the pharmacy to pick something up for me. Gotta shake this stupid cold. I don't expect to get anything done today, considering that unloading the dishwasher felt like my ear was going to burst (when my head was down). But I might try to walk or move around a bit, to get my body temperature up, since that seems to help to get stuff moving (lungs and sinuses, etc).

val, glad to hear that you'll be getting taken care of. It won't be easy, but will end your monthly suffering.
And Happy Birthday to your kiddo!

Marla, sounds nice. Haven't heard of that movie yet, but I'll be looking for it when it comes out on dvd.

Laura, you must be wearing your new bike trainer out. ;) Hope you had a good swim yesterday.

Have a good one! Readya later!

Sherry I hope you can get rid of the cold soon! There's a product over here called Mucinex that I consider a miracle drug. It's more expensive than all the other brands but when I have that kind of head congestion it's the only thing that clears things out. A couple years ago I had a cold that started in my chest and moved into my head then moved into my eyes - at that point I finally bought Mucinex, but I figured it out and I had spent $150 on cold medicine in the 2 weeks combined. Would have saved myself a lot of money and misery by spending the $25 on Mucinex right away.

I hope they do change the group format because it's horrible. I want to see a list of groups with the recent threads like I used to be able to. Plus I'm in several random running groups and it doesn't show them all on the same page. I just removed myself from a couple of groups I never do anything with just to get them off my short list.

I have been on my bike trainer once and that was just for a couple of seconds after I mounted the bike. Thursday I called the doctor because I was feeling worse again and she put me on an additional allergy prescription so I went to the pharmacy to get that on the way home from the gym (where I had a trainer session). Friday I went to the gym at 6:00 am, rode the spin bike there, had a session with my trainer, went to work, then went to swim (my sinuses were not ready and they burned from the chlorine so I quit after 29 minutes in the pool). By the time I got home I was exhausted and felt like I might have a fever. It's in the middle of my living room floor so one of my goals for today is to rearrange so it's not completely in the way.

Hi, going to do the mini hike in the hills soon.

Val I had early menopause, stopped having period at 37 and had bad symptoms for ten years. My only symptom now is dryness. But I am 58 and its been 20 years. So since your operation will throw you into menopause any questions feel free to PM me.

It was great not having the cramps and bleeding anymore but I had to deal with changing sheets from night sweats, crying jags, hot flashes, mood swings, etc.

Be careful about any hormones they might want to put you on. I was on them for 5 yrs before the findings came out about cancer with using them. Check to see if there are any natural things you can do.

That said, with bleeding like yours you definitely need operation and we will be here for moral support even if all you do is walk from bed to couch and back!!!!

Hope your cold gets better soon Sherry! :|
