How do you keep from giving in to cravings?

Just wondering what others do to keep from giving in to cravings?! I find drinking hot water with fresh squeezed lemon in it really keeps me from snacking on unhealthy foods when I have a craving (and it's good for your liver). I would love some other ideas however :)

    My cravings usually come from boredom. If I'm watching tv or reading a book, I want to snack. I find that if I get up and do something to distract myself, the craving passes. I try to do something useful or healthy to distract myself. I'll clean something, or take a walk out to behind the garden to empty my compost, or start an organizing project or craft. There's always something that needs to be done, so I'm never short of ways to distract myself.

    Thank you! That's actually a really awesome suggestion. I tend to have cravings when I'm bored or watching TV as well... or when I'm stressed... I am open to trying anything to stay on track ;)
