    Went back to work shopping and I am astounded that I was wearing a 42 inch waist! 8 inches smaller than the jeans I wore into the store.

    Thank you! That is my major goal going forward. My biggest concern with the post-surgery routine is that I don't want to turn into a zombie on the low calories and lose all of the muscle tone and muscle mass I currently have. I am hitting the gym regularly, but doing less calorie burning cardio and more weights. Hopefully, I will use my muscles enough that when my body goes looking internally for stuff to burn, the muscles point to the fat and say "we're being used, eat those!"

    The first picture was taken around 2007. I think I was about 280 or so. The other pic was taken a couple months ago. Weight around 155.
