    Good Morning :)

Yesterday was kind of an "off" day for me. They are re-shingling our roof (almost done!) and it was on the verge of raining all day, so i worried all day long about that. Plus it was kind of windy and just a nasty day. However the rain held off and today they are back in the sunshine and will finish up. I did get myself on the treadmill (first time on that in forever!) for a short run and then last night went to my exercise class.

Very warm here today, unseasonable warm. Suppose to get up to 20*C I think (68*F) which is pretty much summer temp for where I am.

Val - hope you got your squats and lunges in yesterday. We did quite a bit of that last night at my class! I am certainly feeling it this morning. congrats on breaking into onederland!!!

Laura - I got a chuckle out of comparing Columbus and his sailboat and the gym...lolol Hope that you and your friend got your walk in a noon

Sherry - hey, I actually did some closet purging yesterday! I got rid of a whole garbage bag full from my closet. I need to drop them off today. I could probably do it again today and come up with another full bag. lol great NSV by the way...so great that you enjoyed swinging with your little one!

April - too funny about the flight and seat belt :) Sounds like you are doing well fitting in the exercise and our post makes me want to get my crock pot out! lol Smart to plan ahead to bring snacks on the plane.

Marla - glad that you survived the long day!

Planning to get a run in this morning, can't believe I can run in a tank top in October.

Sherry - Congrats on your NSV! So much of weight loss and exercise is definitely psychological and those kind of victories are so much more important than the numbers battle! So well done!

April - Congrats on a great day yesterday! Planning is most of the battle so I'm sure your trip will go well!

I started to do my squats and lunges...and the promptly stepped wrong and pulled something in my hip. It hurt really bad. to the point where I was hobbling around. I stopped lifting right then, and decided to switch my rest day to today instead of Friday. I was a little nervous that I had really hurt something, but it's feeling significantly better this morning. So I'll just take it easy today and hopefully it'll be good as new by tomorrow morning! Yesterday was full of moments like that. Kids were in lull moods and whining, complaining, and wailing all day. I broke a jar we've had forever that belonged to my husband, and one of my kiddos decided to jump off the couch and landed on my arm. But I didn't binge eat anything yesterday in spite of the stress so I'm proud of myself!

Today is school picture day. I'm volunteering to help, because they give you a free set of pictures when you do. :). The oldest kiddo's piano lesson got moved to today, so I'll be running around a lot...bringing her to piano, then racing to bring her and her siblings to AWANA.

    Happy hump day everyone!

Sherry I can totally relate to that feeling about worrying about breaking things or physically not fitting into spaces. Several years ago I went on a ride at the Mall of America with my niece and the safety bar came over my head/neck and it clicked into place, but either I didn't hear it make a clicking noise or it wasn't as loud as I thought it should be, and I was so scared that I was too big for the ride so it wasn't going to be able to latch properly. I kept pushing at it to try to test it to see if it was really latched shut. I finally realized one of the attendants was looking at me with concern, probably trying to figure out if I was freaking out before the ride even started. It turned out to be fine, but I was always paranoid in those types of situations. Last October I got on an airplane for the first time in 20 years, settled into my narrow seat, and realized that it never crossed my mind that I wouldn't fit. It was a real sign for me of how far I had come.

Rest day today. In my head Wednesdays are still a run/trainer day, so I feel like I should be doing something even though this is now my rest day. I'm not feeling fantastic so my body can use the day off. I walked with my friend yesterday and told her to hit me up if she wanted to walk again today so I will do that if I hear from her, but otherwise I plan to go straight home after work. That almost never happens.

I ate well on Monday and Tuesday and my weight is back down to where it was a week ago when I started sliding. Would like to keep that momentum going.

Today nearly identical to yesterday, except shopping instead of park with lil girl, and calf stretching instead of calf exercises (boy, they're sore!). Got a new yoga mat--ready to start stretching routine and exercising at home again (30 day shred perhaps)! Also, DH finally finished the project that was keeping him busy all the time, so hoping for gym tomorrow.

Cold and sinuses feeling much better.

Good to read everybody, but I gotta keep it short--lots of housework still to do. Have a good one!

Doing my best to kick this cold before I travel on Friday so went to bed early. My hubs woke me up in the night and gave me cough syrup. Was nice but disorienting.

Walk was derailed by POURING rain all day. Yesterday I got in 9k steps and felt good about that.

Healthy eating though still blue. So I’m kind of glad it’s pouring rain. Brought in healthy meals & snacks and am having leftovers for dinner tonight, kind of mishmash before we leave.

I've also been cleaning things out, have five massive bags to go to Goodwill or consign. Mostly clothes of mine that are too big :)
