Hello, everyone must be busy today! I am not usually first to post.
I weighed myself because I am on a weekly challenge that I decided to stay in besides not doing a regular diet. I lost 1.4 lbs this week while eating non diet. I was surprised actually, since I had wine a bunch of times, 1/2 of a cinnamon roll yesterday, etc. I think the answer is that I stop when I feel full and don't go back to eat until hungry. I have tried this before but was never serious about it.
This time it seems to be working...yeh!
I woke up too late for Nia and was going for walk but rain started, I know I need to get out umbrella, in one of those moods to hang out in pj's until work! lol
Going to see about the walk rain or not before work.
Have a nice day all

Wow, that's great Marla! Looks like you've got it figured out! We all have different styles that work with our personality or lifestyle and finding the right one is golden.
I was with the kids all day, as DH had to help his aunt put down flooring. The kids are still awake and I'm about at my breaking point. Besides the usual cooking & cleaning & being at their beck and call, at least I got my son to try on ALL his clothes today and his closet is fully sorted. I also put my dumbbells back together, might start using them instead of the gym (doesn't make sense to pay for the gym when I'm stuck at home all the time due to DH's work, etc). Made plans with a Mommy friend to go up to a local mountain tomorrow with our boys. And the extra benefit is that her sons wear my son's old size, so after all that sorting today, it'll all be OUT of my house tomorrow! (yay)
Hope everyone else is doing great!0 -
Congrats Marla!
Sherry it sounds like you had a productive day. Hope the kids got to sleep! Enjoy your mommy/kids play date tomorrow.
Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. Had a very nice one.
Woke up tired this morning & ended up taking a 2 hour nap from 10:00 to noon. Got up, pulled myself together, and went for my run. 8 miles today with a 1 mile cool-down walk. It's cool but the sun was shining and it wasn't very windy. My trainer had told me I might want to wait until Sunday to run because he was going to beat up my legs on Friday, but tomorrow the forecast is cool & windy with scattered showers and that didn't sound like any fun to run in. About 2 miles in my legs did start hurting but not to the point where I ever wanted to stop. The long cooldown walk helped.
Donna glad you're feeling better. I went through a stage of not feeling well & being tired and I just made horrible food choices. Finally a week ago I started feeling like myself again.0
