Hello! I am new to this group, as well as this website. I used it once upon a time, but was never really serious about it (during my college years). I have been at a gym for about a year now, and my weight always fluctuates. I was able to purchase the smallest size I've ever been, and that was so exciting! Except now, with a heavy workload and different personal things, I'm slowly losing my tone and gaining the weight I worked so hard to lose.
I joined this group because the description and title intrigued me. It will help me so much to have a positive group of individuals! I think too often we are too hard on ourselves, and call ourselves "fat" when sometimes that's not actually the case. I need to learn to love my body, but still work towards being healthy!
I would say I'm pretty average for my height (which is 5'8''), but I would love to lose more off my midsection and tone up all around. My stomach is the trouble area. My goal is to lose 20lbs, but I don't know if that's even going to be realistic. Any tips or advice will be gladly welcomed. I am looking forward to becoming part of the myfitnesspal family!
