Online Sponsors?

Hey everyone.
Does anyone have any experience with online sponsorship? I have attended OA meetings in my area, and there is someone I think I want to be a f2f sponsor, but I'm not sure. I'd like to look around for online sponsors, but I'm not sure if there is a "right" way to do that since the website doesn't have a list or anything.
Is anyone here eligible to be an online sponsor? I'm new to the program so I don't know all the rules of sponsorship.
Thanks!

I just found my sponsor through some phone meetings via www.oabbsg.org. I have been amazed at how I've been welcomed in... there are many recovered sponsors wanting to help and sponsor others there. Good Luck!0

Hi Carrie,
I’m working with a sponsee currently, but I am available to sponsor or at least help you get started. Inbox me on the specifics of what you are looking for.0 -
I have found it extremely difficult to find male sponsors, and we are not really supposed to have sponsors of the opposite gender.0

Hi Greg,
It is not uncommon for males to work with female sponsors in OA because of this issue. I've worked with male sponsees before, primarily because their needs were immediate, so sometimes we have to make exceptions. Usually if you tune in to phone meetings, there are male sponsors available, but it would likely be remote and not face-to-face.0 -
Carrie, Have you found an online sponsor? If not, I would be willing to try online sponsoring.0
