Fun Stuff: Our Group Logo

The group belongs to all of us and I'd like to get everyone in the mix, so why don't we have a logo contest?
The logo I made...
...was created quickly the morning the old group vanished.
I'm sure one of us can come up with something better.
It doesn't look like we can send images to each other privately...that would of been nice, I could have received all of the logos and posted them in random order (anonymously) and then have had everyone vote on them. However, we can (now) upload images directly to a post, so let's do that; anyone who wants to enter, just submit your logo by uploading it to this thread, then in 2 weeks (on Saturday November 1st) I'll gather them all up and put them in a single post (for side by side comparison). We can decide between now and then if we want to vote privately or publicly...it's up to you guys. We'll allow voting during the following week (November 2-7) and tally them up and announce the winner on Saturday November 8th.
Submit as many entries as you want (within reason please, I'm only one man). I'll probably submit a few myself.
You need to have a thick skin; don't get mad if someone doesn't like your entry (please keep criticism "constructive"). Also don't get upset if someone takes your entry/idea and adds their own "twist"; by posting your image you're tossing it into the "public domain". Remember it's all about getting the best logo in the end, and there can be only one.
The logos as viewed on MyFitnessPal are square, 100 by 100 pixels. If you don't create yours as a vector image (wmf, emf, etc.) then try to keep it big-ish...so there is no loss in quality, I would say at least half the width of a post (about 400 x 400 or so). You'll have to upload it to MFP as either a jpg or png (they may support gif as well).
Good Luck

I can't help but think that the concept I have heard in the 5:2 Fasting group the most is Hope. Many have said this is the first thing that has truly worked for them and the first plan they have been able to stick with for any length of time. I remember @thecarbmonster, I believe, saying she no longer feared the scale. We (those who struggle with their weight) are a section of society that has had its fair share of failure and hopelessness. I think 5:2 offers a foundation of hope that most plans aren't able to. I think it would be fabulous to make that known to others on MFP.
Just wanted to throw that out. If anyone else agrees and wants to weave the idea of hope into the banner, catchphrase and logo I would be honored, especially since my six year old son has already surpassed my artistic and creative talent.0 -
Just some tests...
at 100 x 100, some of the detail is lost
I'm not liking this one, comments please?0 -
Not too fond of angels and devils. While cute, they can be misconstrued.0

I agree, I don't like the angels and devils either. I also think it also needs to be larger than 100 x 100 in order to read it clearly (for us age'ed ones!!)0

The 100x100 is what MyFitnessPal will set it at regardless...that will be the end result. I'll probably just go with a simple 5:2 in a circle then.0
