Hey guys, I posted this awhile back on my profile page, but I just noticed that it's now including group threads too! It's basically the old way we used to find our threads that we'd participated or tagged into. Hope it might help.

Thanks Sherry. Hope the ankle continues to improve.
Sorry about the cancellation of your trip, Marla. Hope that you enjoy your days off though and that your husband is feeling better soon.
I'm feeling internally chilled today and tired. Even the shower didn't help this morning. I think that I need to increase the temperature in my house. What worked for me 2 years ago and years prior to that, doesn't seem to be working for the thinner me. I did this last year because I felt that I was getting used to having less padding, increased the house temps that is, but it appears that I still need it warmer inside. Plus, Colin always has. This year, as happened last year, the combination of having parts of my body cold and other parts too warm (because Colin's small dog body feels the need to pin down one arm and lie against my side when he's cold), is causing me to have very poor sleep. I know that I could crate Colin at night with a warming disk and he'd be okay, but I think that we'd all be happier with a warmer house, except when the heating bill comes due.
Hope to get to a Body Conditioning class tonight. Already looking forward to warm soup for lunch.

Along with turning the heater up a few notches, try some thin long sleeve shirts and sweaters and sweatshirts. I mean the super thin not bulky ones, they are comfortable to wear around the house so you don't feel like you have to take off.
I noticed I am drinking more hot tea too....burrrr....
I am ok with staying home...my husband is convinced he is dying again. Every time he gets sick he thinks it's the end. He does get super sick, he had cancer 15 years ago so his immune system is bad. I feel bad for him that way.
But when he starts talking about death.....I told him his negative thoughts were sucking him down. Then I turned on a silly house show we like where people move overseas, got his mind off it...
I went to nia yesterday, probably a walk today.

Donna I'm having the same problem. I discovered last year the same layering rules that keep me warm running outside also work in the winter inside the house. Like Marla suggests I use thin layers, but I'll have on 2 or 3. The layer closest to my skin is form fitting (not so tight to be uncomfortable but more snug than I would wear by itself) which seems to be the key to this working well. I bought Champion brand long underwear at Target that feels pretty insignificant alone but having it tight against my skin with a slightly heavier layer over it helps. Or I'll wear 3 light layers on top so I can pull the top one on and off depending on what I'm doing (if I'm sitting on the couch it's on, and when I'm moving around cleaning it's off).
Glad you're not too disappointed Marla with your trip getting cancelled. Glad you're enjoying the time off anyway!
I had a chiropractor appointment this morning and they were updating their records, and as part of that they took my blood pressure. It was 110/62. For years mine was in the high 120s / low 80s, so it's fun to have it be so nice & normal instead of pre-hypertension.
Trainer session tonight & will get in a run. I keep trying to hit him up to help me figure out better eating strategies and so far he's not been very helpful. (He tells me to just stop over-eating. Do you think I would have been 100 pounds overweight in the first place if I was good at just stopping? ha ha) I'm tired of the yo-yo I've been on lately.0 -
Stressful day today.
That's about all I can say. Also, torrential rain. But mainly a hair-pulling-out stressful day. Still sore from leg day and also abs from the hanging leg raises I did at the park yesterday but forgot about until this morning--ouch. Hoping for better tomorrow. Til then, have a good one.

Man alive! Vacations cancelled, toes hurt, sore muscles, chilly inside...
Glad to see you're playing hooky from work, Marla. What a great NSV, Laura! YAY!
It's super super busy at work and my eating has been okay. WW tomorrow though I think I'm about even from where I started before I went out of town for the memorial.
Trainer tomorrow am and I'm looking forward to it as well as dreading it. I have almost no food at home, slacked on going to the grocery store this week...0 -
My workout was pretty wimpy (by my trainer's design, not because I was feeling wimpy) and by the time we were done I was so uninspired I just couldn't get into my run. I ran half a mile, thought "screw it" and quit. Trainer again tomorrow morning.
Sherry I hope tomorrow is a better day.
Welcome back April!0
