Hi all,

Just wanted to share something with you. Norma Haener from Healthy U put together a list of fitness resources for those that are interested. These are local clubs that get together and do all kinds of outdoor activities. It's not only great exercise, but a great way to meet others that share the same goals as you.....health and fitness! Take a look, I hope you find this of interest. Below is the email Norma sent me:

At our last Metabolic Syndrome meeting on October 7th, we talked about having a list of exercise/activity resources for the participants. The Fitness Meet Up site below offers a list of a wide range of fitness groups within a 25 mile radius of Boise. Some of the groups included are:
• Idaho Hiking Club
• Boise Tail Heads
• Boise Hiking with Dogs
• Boise Casual Cruisers (BCC)
• Boise Mountain Biking
• Meet Me Mondays (walk/run/dogs)
• Fit and Healthy
o Boise Eastside Run Club
o Indoor Stair Climb at Banner Bank
o 2pm Hills at Camels Back

Idaho running company was not listed in the Meet up site but meets every Thursday at 5:30pm rain or shine and is for all levels of walkers and runners.
