Earndit Biggest Loser Challenge

Do any of you have your BodyMedia account linked to Earndit? I just signed up in the last week and entered the Biggest Loser challenge that begins 6/1 and ends 6/30. To qualify for the top prize you need to earn 50 activity points each day, totaling 1500 points for the month.
So far I have been earning about 36 points a day for 45 minutes of cardio. I don't understand how these "points" are calculated. I read something about being at a certain level of METS for a period of time but when you are in the workout mode on the phone app while you are exercising it doesn't tell you what MET level you are at.
Anybody know?

Hi!
I was just going to post a topic for this! I just joined as well. They give you point for every minute of activity higher than 3 mets at the rate of 0,1 x met. so if you workout 10 minutes at 6 mets you get 6 points. I haven't earned any points yet because my armband broke and waiting for my new one.
3 mets is you moderate exercise and 6 mets is your vigorous exercise.0 -
upload your data on the phone.. turn it sideways to see updated/realtime graphed values of cals burned.0

Thanks for explaining this.
This is so disappointing:noway:
I am going to have to work on raising my METS during my workout. I am currently just under 6 METS per minute. I guess that means I will have to work out for 50 minutes at over 6 METS in order to get that 50 points per day. Right?0 -

You can earn a max of 60 points per day.
daily points = .1 points/MET x METS/minute x total minutes
.1 points/MET x 6 METS/min x 50 minutes = 30 points
Total minutes needed for 50 points at 6 METS = 50 points/(.1 points/METS x 6 METS/min) = 83.33 minutes
You really need to average about 8 METS/min to get 50 points in about an hour. Personally I only get that with running.0 -

Thanks for this. I seems that I will need really step things up to reach that goal! This will require working out twice a day I think. I average around 5.5 METS in a session and when I do intervals to push it past 6 METS I get too tired to continue for 45 minutes to an hour. I really need to work on my endurance0
