Hello....I am fairly new to the Ketogenic lifestyle (about 4-weeks) and just started using MCT oil
in my coffee with breakfast. I use just 1 tablespoon for now and since its tasteless it goes down easy. My question is how much do other users of MCT do in your coffee and what else to you use it in? salads? or ?.........I am sure enjoying this diet/lifestyle,wished I had discovered it years ago.

I use it in combination with olive oil in my home made mayonaisse. I find that if I use it straight up, like in coffee, etc, I get a stomach ache if i use more than a teaspoon or so.0

I just use good quality coconut oil, as it is has medium chain triglycerides, too, and is much cheaper. Plus, I use it for cooking, and in my beauty regimen. I don't know if you can cook with MCT oil - don't know how it was processed, and, since you say it's tasteless, probably not a good choice for a recipe.
Have you tried adding some butter to your coffee with the MCT oil? If you mix it in the blender, it gets all nice and foamy and tastes just like a latte!

A little late to the party as usual, but I use MCT in my coffee, along with butter or ghee and HWC. I'm going to go back to using coconut oil, as quite frankly, I've not really noticed much of a difference in either my blood ketone levels or energy levels with the MCT oil, and honestly, that glass bottle is a pain in the *kitten*. I'm paranoid about it breaking in my suitcase that i keep at the hotel.0
