Well the weekend has come and gone. Did you do anything exciting.....anything with the Halloween theme?? I bought a pumpkin and had my black cat sit by it to get in the 'spirit' of things! lol
Still trying to stick close to the calorie limit I have set and trying to get steps in. The temp has finally dropped and we are in the low 90's now.
I tried a new food this week, a 'red pear'....thought I would challenge myself to a new food item. It was really delicious. Then tried a Quinco (??spelled wrong) and it was just OK.
Anybody else venture out and try some new foodies????
Have a great week!!

Well, for me this last weekend was my first masquerade. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but it was a ton of fun. I am for sure going to go next year. There was a lot more dancing than I expected, but I stepped out of my comfort zone and danced the night away. I don't have all of the pictures from the masquerade yet, but I do have a few from the photo booth room and a random outside shot.
This next one is my favorite. This couple dressed up as Jareth the Goblin King and Sarah from the movie Labyrinth. I think they nailed it.

OMG!! The masquerade looks like it was so much fun!!! How wonderful to have a great group of friends to do this with!!! And very happy to hear that you got out of your comfort zone and danced the night away!! Zac, that is what life is all about!! Too many of us stay in that comfort zone for far too long before we realize that 'who the h#ll cares'! We are each individuals and have our own talents and personalities! We need to get out there and enjoy life!! Time passes by way to quickly to just 'sit on the bleachers' and watch the game....very happy to hear you had a great time!! Waiting to see what you do on Halloween!!! lol0

Zac, it looks like you had a blast and I couldn't agree with Nancy more. We've sat on the sideline for far too long......it's time to live! Things are going pretty good here. Didn't do anything over the weekend that was exciting. Monday morning Michael had surgery on his nose and it's been a little crazy because of that. I've been doing good with keeping within my calorie intake (though a couple of days I forgot to hit the "finish the day" button) and get my exercise in. Hoping the scale continues to show success but I refuse to let it run my life. So do you guys have any plans for Halloween? None here except staying away from the candy sales, lol.0

For Halloween it looks like we are going to be attending the house party of a friend of a friend. I guess it is usually a pretty large shindig. It should be fun, but the best part is always just spending time with those you care about. We also have a tradition of always eating out while in full costume. I am assuming that will be happening again (I promise to make good choices). I am also hoping to get to see my nieces in their Halloween day parade at their school before I head in to work. They are adorable and I am their favorite uncle so I should probably do my best to make sure I am there.
I will do my best to make sure I am always "in the game". I enjoy life and participating in it, so I need to make sure that I get out there and that I don't let fear or doubt hold me back. (I feel like I should be charging off on horseback or something)
Good luck staying away from the candy sales! Those things are the devil and the adversary of many a plus size (and formerly plus sized) people.0
