Thinking ahead to November and the idea of thankfulness. I am reminded of how thankful I am that I can exercise--because for the last week I have been coping with shingles and now today I injured my knee. Both are temporary set backs and so my monthly motivation letter to myself to be opened a month from today is all about how thankful I will feel a month from now when I am well again and resumed being active.
What are you thankful for in your efforts to live a healthier, more active life?

I am thankful I no longer experience leg pain whenever I walk. In August, it was miserable walking to work everyday. For the past month, I've been able to walk to work with no pain at all.
I am also thankful that my boyfriend is so supportive. We plan our groceries for the week together and go on walks.0
