Brown Seaweed Extract question

I just recently bought "Only Natural Brown Seaweed Plus" its a brown seaweed extract with some Green Tea extract mixed in. Was wondering if anyone else has tried this and biggest curiousity is if I can actually open the veggie capsule and put the powder on food or drink and consume it that way??
