Training Plans... thoughts~~~~~ please

To my running buds.... thoughts..... I have two training programs that have been highly suggested.... Hal Higdon's Half Novice, OR Couch to Half Marathon. My half is planned for the end of Feb 2015.

I would go with Hal's plan but you may benefit from the group motivation of Couch to Half. My wife enjoyed the positive group interaction and encouragement of her Couch to 5K last year. Regardless I'd say start running at least ten miles a week now and increase your mileage no more than 10% each week or two.0
