What a year it’s been so far… with only two months to go!! Each one of us can probably say we’re not where we want to be….but look how much progress we’ve made! With every mis-step, we’ve made ,we’ve usually rebounded in a positive way..

IPOU all and Thankful for all of your support.
May we all have a blessed thanksgiving.
…….. and stay safe.

My "turkey day" has come and gone Gail LOL... but totally with you on being thankful for the support and the ability to rebound! I weighed in this morning after my week away, and set my ticker accordingly - and now working on losing the regain - I WILL get back to my maintenance weight by the end of the year; and I'm actually looking forward to the hard work, effort and discipline it's gonna take to get to the place where I'm a happy camper again LOL) HUGS and thanks for the post!

Sorry for the absence. I've been working a lot lately. I'm glad to see you're all here. I'm not getting to the gym and haven't started back with the trainer yet. I'd intended to do both before the weather turned cold. And the yardwork. I didn't do that, either. I'm working on having a better schedule. I need more energy at the end of the "to-do" list. I'm sure there are busy people who do this successfully. Any suggestions? What's working for you?

I hear ya Kobiemom.... I think one of the hardest things we women face is that we're so damn busy - and we still take care of everyone and everything else before ourselves... honest to god I think we need to break the mind set we have that we come last.. a lot of things I've read have said you need to schedule time for YOU the same way you schedule appointments and doc visits and chores and whatever... but its way easier said than done!!! Right now im simply focusing on eating better and eating less.. right back to the basics where I started originally - 80% of weight loss happens in the kitchen, 20% in the gym so it's said... so im TAKING the time to make better meals (and I hate cooking... lol) but im also learning to say "no" and "you'll have to wait til I'm done looking after me (whether it be leaves or the peeps at work... im a bit of a control freak at work I admit.. but
im training myself to not have the solve the problems of the world anymore LOL.. delegation is a wonderful thing and instead of doing it myself to make sure its done RIGHT (aka my way. im like... here ya go... and away ya go.... lol if it's right or wrong, not my problem anymore.. I have a cute poster as my puter screen saver.. bunch of monkeys and the phrase says "NOT my circus, NOT my monkeys"... so its a constant reminder to just say "sorry, you'll have to get someone else" or "sorry, I cant help you"... im a whole lot less stressed these days now that I can say nope!
