    Been using the FitBit Charge HR for several weeks now. The heart rate tracking seems to be ok for elliptical, treadmill, walking, running type workouts but I've had less success during weight training. I'm still adjusting location on my arm, conscious of the angle of my wrist etc. in an attempt to gain more accuracy in the heart rate shown on the Charge HR.

    Hi everyone, I'm Paul. I'm a complete and utter newbie to Fitbit (and MFP). My Fitbit Charge HR dropped through my door about an hour ago and I can't wait to get going, looks like a great bit of kit!

    I just got my charge hr and so far I like it but I'm not sure how accurate the heart rate monitor is during some exercises. I just came back from a 30 min kettlebell class and it shows I only burned 132 calories? That can't be right. It seemed to not be reading my hr right, when I checked it was showing 75-95 but when I manually checked it was more like 115. How do I override what it put in my MFP profile for calories burned?

    I got mine for christmas from my boyfriend, it has taken me a long time to attach it to myfitnesspal. I hope that I can be more accountable. I have a really bad habit of starting to change and get into a routine for a few days and then just stopping. I want to be better about sticking to getting healthy and logging in my information.

    Are you talking about the negative calories? I just figured out you have to enable that in the settings on the MFP website. Hope that helps!

    Had a One for two years before I ran it through the wash.
    Just got the HR two days ago, so far the only problem I'm having is it won't sync the "workout mode" on the PC or the App.
    And the fact that this thing is like a monolith on my wrist :-(
