I just recently purchased a breathalyzer but I am having a hard time trying to figure out what state of ketosis i am in? I can't seem to find any info on whether i am in Nutritional ketosis or starvation ketosis.. I blow a constant.02 to .03 and not sure if that is where i am supposed to be or not. Anyone have any info on this?

To my knowledge, there is no difference between "starvation" ketosis and "nutritional" ketosis, as far as the breathalyzer is concerned. The difference comes in how you go about creating that state of ketosis -- either by starving, or by eating adequate amounts of food, but minimal carbs and only enough protein to maintain lean mass.

From what I've heard is that the breathalyzers can't tell the difference between the acetone in your breath from keto and actual alcohol. I don't think you can get a measurement from it. You're either in ketosis or you're not. If you're following your macros to get a moderate amount of protein and you're not running too big of a deficit with your calories then you don't risk putting yourself into starvation mode.
