First I want to say that I have not been super active in this group, but really appreciated a lot of the posts for reference and any questions I had along the way. I really loved this program and am thrilled with the results I got. The self-confidence that kept piling on along the way was the most unexpected!
The first picture is at about 169 pounds, after losing 20 pounds via calorie counting, some cardio and TRX (bodyweight) strength training. I was happy to lose the weight but not happy with my body composition.
I averaged about 2000 calories a day. I'm 26, a bit over 5'7". After pic is only about 6-7 pounds lower. Lost some inches and definitely some body fat. I did 3x/week and it took me about 6 months.
I am toying with the idea of doing the program again, but whatever I choose I know for sure that heavy lifting will remain a dominant part of my routine. I want to lose some more fat, but think I will probably be pretty happy just another 10 pounds down.
