Week ended with ALMOST 2 pounds. I know this is now settling in to the normal weight loss pattern.

Had a few emotional days (nothing to do with "diet program" or the scales). BUT am determined not to eat my way through it. IF I do, I will then just start beating myself up over it. So, it won't help! AND then I will be discouraged that scales went up...and start eating wrong again.

    So, am NOT!!!

On the bright side, I did discover Smart Balance dark chocolate peanut butter. I rarely crave chocolate (I did not get those genes). But this has just enough cocoa powder to satisfy. As a matter of fact, find I am eating a smaller TBSfull than I do the regular Smart Balance peanut butter. Go figure that one!

    GOALS:

    Oct 6 - 214
    Oct 12- 208.5
    Oct 19- 204.4
Oct 26-201.9 (already passed 4 week goal)
    Nov 2-199.3
    Nov 9-198.1
    Nov 16-
    Nov23-

    **By Nov 2 - 202 (check- before 10/26)
    **By Nov 23 - 194

This is end of week 5 for me, I think I will have a cheat meal sometime this week. BUT I want to plan it. A "you can eat what your want, within limits" meal -Healthy, but some carbs.

HokeyPokey2 - Thank you. I have not been below 200 is a very long time!

Btw...I smile when I see you 'name'. We do mission trips to Guatemala and Romania twice a year to host VBS camps. It is always a favorite to teach the kids (and yes the adults, too) the Hokey Pokey. Everyone loves it! We often have it translated, but the kids love learning English so it is an easy song to teach.

AND who can dance the Hokey Pokey and not smile when doing it?

    NSV already today.

MMMMMmmmm.....thought I was going to grab an extra sausage link for breakfast (4 instead of 3). I rarely use all my calories. BUT by the time I ate my regular 2 scrambled eggs with 4 large TBS of salsa, half a grapefruit, and drank most of my coffee...I put the 4th one back.

I stayed the same this and am happy with that. Was traveling for 3 days, eating out, long hours, little sleep, and no exercise. I did well to maintain!

We leave on Wed for my neice's wedding in FL. Hoping to get at least 2 runs while we're gone. Snacks already packed. Portion control; choosing lots of vegetables; and only a couple of beers, is my plan.

Congrats to all the "losers" this week!

Dclem- That's really cool that you do mission trips! I wish I had the time... And great NSV! Woo-hoo!

Nliette- Great job for maintaining! Sometimes it's all I can ask of myself! lol
