    Sherry - Hope your family starts feeling better! I like the idea of bringing your son with when you run. It'll get him developing good habits as well!

    Laura - congrats on the longer run! I love when that happens! Enjoy the snow...all my MN friends and relatives have been talking about it. It's low 80s and gorgeous here...we just planted new grass for the cooler months in our backyard. ;)

    April - no judgement here. We all have our little vices. Mine are cheesy chick flicks.

    Yesterday went well. I had an extra kid all day, but still got a lot done and stayed in my calorie range. No return of my headache either. I might try to get a nap in today as my sleep was not the greatest last night..and it was short. This morning I have our extra one year old, all three of my kids, and three of my neighbor kids. So seven kids total for about 3-4 hours. Should be interesting. ;)

    Dropped more weight! The combination of injury, health issues, and the depressed moods that came from it had caused me to gain about 5-10 pounds back. I was hovering around 195...but had jumped back up to 207. I'm back down to 203! I want to keep this up and get back down again! This is also on my scale that's a bit wonky...so I'm probably already under 200. But I don't feel like getting a new one. I figure I can still tell if I'm gaining or losing.

    Hi all. Not a good report from me today. Lil girl was up half the night unable to breathe and a bad cough. She was sick all day and I'm feeling run-down & DH is very tired too. I stayed home with lil girl all day, so no steps today, and we ended up ordering dinner after we were all already too hungry to make good decisions (boo!). We all stayed in all evening too, and were taking vit C like crazy today.

    I did get my shoulder strength workout done in the morning, but never got to glutes because of a sore right hip (no idea why). Still worried that I'm not ready for running again because I still have intermittent calf & heel problems without any running at all. I'm going to try a few more things before I re-start.

    val, congrats on some weight loss, but sorry about the conditions under which it happened...but call it a small silver lining I guess. I'm in the same boat, where I lost and then gained and am trying to get back down again. It sometimes feels so far away.
