Just popping in to thank you all again so much for your support and kindess...but I can officially report I have perfect, non-cancerous breasts! In fact, the lump has miraculously disappeared altogether....which made me feel just a little embarrassed for taking up valuable time and resources that genuinely sick people need.

Still, it had to be checked, and the Doc felt it before referring me so I know I wasn't imagining things.

    YIPPPEEEEEE!!!

    Hallelujah!

Excellent news! I've lurked this thread and was hoping for a good outcome!

    so happy for you!!!
  • I've just had a read all the way through this and I have to say Emma that you are one tough cookie! I don't think I would have been able to cope with it all - I'm so very happy to hear the news that you're A-O-K!

My mum went through a health scare about 10 years ago and unfortunately she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis but she is a fighter and won't let it change her. If your news had been any different then I reckon you would have found the strength to deal with it too.

Like everyone else has been saying, now is time to celebrate and no one could wish for a better Christmas present that to be given a clean bill of health... so come on then, bikini pics! :p

Thank you Jo, it was a bit rough there for a while but I'm really enjoying being worry free right now - we so often take our good health for granted.

As for the bikini pic, I already inflicted that on the poor folks here last week...here's the less confronting version!z19d2kpw3hbv.jpg

  • Swit swoooooo! Check you out, you look fab!

So did you decide if you were going to go for the last few lbs for Xmas? From what I can see, I don't think you need to but we all have our own personal goals

I got a reasonably pleasant surprise on the scales on Thurs (after two weeks of barely logging and eating/drinking to excess I was only up 400gms from my lowest weight ever) so I gave myself another treat weekend (kids birthday) and am now back on task. Will give it two weeks of being good/logging and see where I'm at then...but I'm pretty close!
