Happy Thanksgiving all you rock stars!! Love reading your updates! On my way over to check out John's challenge today.
    Having a decadent carb nite!
You guys are really convincing me that I should get to Paleo Fx. Just to meet you all. Kim: the expo floor admission is very reasonable & lots down there. Talks & everything. I'm pretty sure I'm in.
    Welcome back Stacy!
Again, happy turkey day all! Enjoy it!!!!

    Happy Thanks giving all!
Started the day early with a wakeup from work, broken computers stuff. Then a good ham and egg breakfast. Of building the barn all day till dinner @ 3PM. I was good and ate moderate amounts of turkey, yams, bacon wrapped green beans :D and a little stuffing. Oh and a small piece of pumpkin pie. After dinner I rushed to Walmart and scored a new 50" TV for $220. Got back in time to say goodbye to the grandkids. Overall a great day.

Funtasic Friday Folks! I feel another great day is in the works. Have to go in early to help setup our Christmas Tree on the D Ward. So I'll be getting off early tonight. Black Friday is already in progress here in the Savannah Area. Been a long time since I had anything to do with it, for any of you braving the crowds, Good Luck and Gods Speed.

    Kris Welcome to our world.

Looks like all had a good Thanksgiving Day, I've seen pics of some of Carols and She Was Jammin'!

BTW as I counted my many blessings yesterday just thought I'd pass along that among them was each and every one of you. It is an amazing world we live in today.

    God Bless.

GOOD Morning All! I feel strong this morning. Ate relatively good yesterday and didn't even have any dessert. I was stuffed. Managed two workouts. Day one back was a success.

Mark, You were one of "those" people at Walmart! Last night was the first time since I was a kid that I ventured out for Black Friday. I wanted to pick up a couple more things for the boyfriend's birthday. Went to Dunhams and thought "eh, this isn't so bad" and then I went to Walmart. Oh my goodness! I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life. There were cops everywhere. I swear that all of the Detroit area was at that Walmart last night and they were buying TVs. The sea of yellow tape made it feel like I was in the middle of a crime scene. Police were walking the aisles. I finally make it to the line and I am chatting with someone amid the chaos when I declare "I didn't even come in for a deal" - Then all eyes turn to look at me and you could have heard a pin drop until a lady says "Girl! You are crazy!" An uproar of laughter followed. I was so glad to get home and vow to never do that again.

Off to workout. There may be some cheesecake happening today. Hey, it's his birthday:)

Have a great day and be safe out there shopping.

Yes kris3b, I was one of "them", it was the first time I ever have. The line was 4 isles long and I ended up with a piece of paper to redeem later. Had good conversation with folks in line. Not a terrible experience but will not likely do it again soon. Welcome.

    Good morning guys!

Wow, cooking a feast totally from scratch was a ton of work! I swear I was cooking/ baking nonstop for two days. Did sneak over to gym yesterday morning for a fairly physical vinyasa flow class. Original plan was to do my shockwave strength workout after...but class went long, and used legs so much, I didn't have it in me to do deadlift day. Nor did I want to spend 2 1/2 hours at gym. Pushed workout to today (app lets you push them one day... I assume if nothing on that day already dunno).

Food was great. Stuffed myself full of carbs. Cannot believe I got zero pictures of the food or really much of the prep other than the turkey brine. Ms Instagram sorely failed ;) However between a ton of sweet sweet potato casserole (Ruth's Chris style) and then both types of pie, I could not do a third carb nite spike. Could not. Still feel stuffed.

Thanks for the welcome Mark. Beerbikegirl, I had leftovers tonight and am way over carbs. This might just be what I needed to go low carb. Carol, hope you are having a great trip. Cool that the family is getting in on the daily challenge. John, What a beautiful tree!

Off to vegetate with the boyfriend. I was proud of him today. I ran out to pick up his cheesecake for his birthday and the chocolate shop where I buy it no longer makes them. I went everywhere looking for another. Came home and he said he would rather not have any because we would just eat it and we need to get moving on clean eating. Nice:) Mind you I did buy him some of his favorite chocolates and I believe he is almost through them. So instead of birthday cake I made him a small batch of spinach dip. Not TOO unhealthy. Johns challenge wore my shoulders out and in desperate need of a massage.

    Goodnight all!
