I gave it a try already. I threw my shoes on and since my mailbox is at the door opted to walk out to get the paper at the end of the drive and back. BF didn't blink and eye, but did get a good morning from the neighbor across the street. Thank goodness he didn't ask me what I was doing!!!

Carol, you would have LOVED the temps in our parts last winter. As Jen said, "...delightful!" NOT! When I did my week long hike in the Sierra Madre in Mexico, there was a couple from TX with me. We would have temps overnight in the mid 20s and then it would go up to the 70s during the day. Would hear them crying in their tents. They would wake up in their puffy winter coats and I wouldn't have a coat on. They said I was crazy and blamed it on my northern Scandinavian blood. By 10am I was usually unzipping and turning my hiking pants into shorts, while they still had their jackets on. Haha I am not a fan of 10 degree or lower temps, wind and wet. Hate it!

That was fun. The kids never asked me what I was doing. They just gave me a sideways look. What does that tell ya??

Ok Dokay! Today is a bit of a toughie is you have knee problems so do the best you can do not be afraid to use chair backs or walls etc for support if need be. With 7 days left in the Challenge its 7 Sets, 7 Reps of Stationary Lunges.

Just a Heads Ups - The coming Challenge for the Weekend is going to be very difficult, both mentally and physically. Could even be a dollar withdrawal out of the fat bank, its that tough. But at this point in time I know you are ready for it. B B)

All Right! Funtastic Friday is here! Today is about a first time. Yep, you must pick and exercise or an activity that you have never done before. then Do it. How many reps, or sets is up to you. But it must be something new. Time line report will be the phrase "Done Deal" If you want to share it fine, but not requiered. /there is a clear phisiological response to new. This will set the nail for the weekend exercise coming up. You're gonna want to hang a picture from this one.

Happy Saturday Folks! This weekends challenge is probably one of the toughest but with the challenge comes the greatest reward.

Sometime during this weekend you must do at least One RAK (Random Act of Kindness). But here is the squeeze. You must also engage this person in conversation and learn their Mothers Middle Name. Also get them to pose for a selfie with you. and post it here.

If I told you where or who I learned about this from I'd have to Kill you. But I can say; the Mothers Middle Name part, is an advanced exercise from Special Ops Training, and advance Survival Evasion and Resistance training the CIA did for U-2 Pilots. What they found during this training the RAK was the easiest way to start the process.

So Go Have Some Fun. and Merry Christmas.

Awww, I am very late on this one. Great challenge. Even if I didn't do it today. I did help someone carry in a pile of stuff to the post office yesterday. Doesn't really count but I got a hug out of it. Hugs count!

So Happy Tuesday Folks! Today is about the Mind. It;s about Dunbar's Number, Joesph Dunbar was a researcher that postulated and confirmed that we are capable of having a wide circle of about 150 folks we are connected to, and around 12 that comprise our intimate circle. Today, make a list of the 12 folks you hold dearest. Write them down, (not type them write them) and over the next week or so Write each one a letter. The act of writing to some one you love, had both a positive mental and physiological effect. The act of The formation of this short story in your letter, and the physical act of making the letters all contribute to both health and well being. It also translates to positive effects for the person you send it too. Spread the Love.

So happy Wednesday Folks! Well The Challenge comes to a close. It has been a high honor for me to have anyone follow this to today's end. I hope you are a bit more well by now. It does not come in a day or a month or even years necessarily but each positive step you take no matter how small has significance.
Spirituality is about growth. I have but to look at a blade of grass, or a leaf on a tree, to see signs of a deity that is great beyond my comprehension. Tomorrow we mark the birth of a single Jewish boy 2147 years ago. Try to measure the impact this young child has had on the world, the simplicity of his message, and the potential for good it has. Now weigh this against the human complications added to his message and you begin to see our human propensity to over complicate even the simplest of things.
So today the challenge is to see the life, and love in the world and people around you. Have a Merry Christmas and God Bless you all.

What a gift you gave to anyone who even checked this thread to see what we were up to. Your leadership is an inspiration!

I'll be honest, I didn't complete them all but I was with you about 80% of the time. And that is A LOT more wellness than I would have had this month otherwise.

I salute you, Hammer Jammer. I appreciate you and I wish you a very merry Christmas!

    Thank you John.
