Did most of a double workout at gym today because I will have appt with son tomorrow. Did legs, hip flex and hip ext, chest, back.

My checkins Might be brief this week. I will be logging food, but generally spending less time online this week.

    Have a good one!

P.s. I really liked today's threadstarter because it doesnt just apply to getting your workout, but also spending time with loved ones, or doing anything that you find worthwhile.

Today's thread starter is a great reminder!

Friday was a great eating day, yesterday was kind of a disaster, and today I seem to be back on track again. For several years (even when I'm not trying to lose weight) I've been having a meal replacement shake for breakfast, partially out of convenience and partially because solid food doesn't appeal to me first thing in the morning. I'm realizing lately that the days I do have a "real" breakfast, I eat more the rest of the day. Yesterday I had scrambled eggs (using Egg Beaters) with a little diced ham & cheese, onion/peppers and toast. Calories were very comparable to my shake & banana the day before but I was much hungrier the rest of the day. Not sure why that's the case but the past several times I've made breakfast I've noticed the trend.

Tried to be productive this morning. Generally picked up some clutter, cleaned out/organized a couple of drawers, attempted one plumbing project which ended up with me texting my dad to come help, and organized all the stuff under the kitchen sink since I had to half empty it out anyway. My mom texted to tell me to come to my great-nephew's hockey practice at 5:30 (she said they stay about half an hour) because it's fun to watch, so I'll probably do that. At some point today I'll get on my bike trainer and get in a workout. I put a roast in the crockpot this morning but got it in later than planned because of the kitchen faucet debacle, so I'll probably get on my bike after hockey practice then have a late dinner. Hopefully that will curtail my typical Sunday evening desire to snack.
