Stinky urine

I've seen several posts about how your urine smells bad if you're on a keto diet. At first I thought it was funny until I experienced it myself. I was in the bathroom at work and I smelled something horrible. I thought it was the drain. Now I'm wondering if it was me. I haven't noticed it at home yet so maybe it was the drain. Is there a time frame on how long before your urine runs you out of the bathroom?

This doesn't necessarily happen to everyone. For me it lasted less than 24 hours. After that day passed I haven't had any bad physical signs of being in ketosis. But I will say that it was one of the worst things I've ever smelled.

I hate to ask the obvious, but did you eat something like asparagus? That does it for me. Otherwise, I haven't noticed any bad smells.0

I did have asparagus and I didn't even think about that because I was so focused on it smelling on its own. LOL!0
