Second Week of December Challenges...

So yeah, a bit of a rocky start - woke up late two days last week and ran around like a crazy person all day, and therefore I was not able to keep up on the planks as anticipated. It seems silly that I couldn't find a minute or two both days to keep up, but hey, it is what it is...

Anyway, my personal challenge for this week is to continue to build up on the planks. I am trying to build up to 5 minutes a day, but for right now I'm focusing on 13 minutes over a week, broken down as follows:

Monday 60 seconds
Tuesday 90 seconds
Wednesday 120 seconds
Thursday 120 seconds
Friday 150 seconds
Saturday 150 seconds
Sunday 150 seconds

Yep, got a lot to work on if I’m going to hit that 2.5-minute mark by Sunday. Keeping motivated, I think, is the problem. I keep trying to have the end-goal in mind, but I feel like I need something to focus on NOW. Perhaps I’m just too impatient, who knows?

So yeah, did a weigh-in this morning, and after my wife’s company Christmas Party on Saturday I’m not surprised that I didn’t lose much this week. I did manage to keep half a pound off, though 

Lame…

Returned home in the wee hours of the morning from weekend in Williamsburg with the family. Have been avoiding the scale. But back to planks tonight and lifting tomorrow.

Terribly! I've been so busy at work that I haven't had a spare moment to log on to MFP! Mea culpa! Hopefully next week will be a little bit better. So yeah, needless to say, I'm going to have to do a repeat of this week's plank challenge, as I'm certain I can't just pick up from 150 seconds when my last plank (nearly a week ago!!!!) was only at 90 seconds. Bah humbug, I say...
