^totally for me in some other aspects of my life
Today walked to gym as usual, did legs, but focused primarily on hips and calves. T.O.M. Today, so went sorta easy on some of it. Walked home. Things are basically going really well right now.0 -
Glad you were able to get hips & calves in today Sherry! Frustrating when you get to the gym & it's so busy you can't do what you want to do.
Started my bike workout yesterday morning & my HR was so high (and wasn't coming down) that I cut it short. After lunch I took a nap & woke up with a cough, so I was worried I was coming down with a cold. Ran to the store & picked up Severe DayQuil & NyQuil. I ended up sleeping really well last night (thanks to the NyQuil) and then took a solid 2 hour nap today. Whatever is going on hasn't turned into a full-blown cold but I don't feel great either. I intended to get stuff done around the house today but except for washing dishes did nothing.
I did go to the gym. I struggled a bit more than usual but was able to do everything. Homework was 20 minutes cardio of my choice (did the elliptical), then some shoulder band exercises, then supersets of several different arm/shoulder exercises, then 10 minutes each on 4 different cardio machines (did the rowing machine, Jacobs Ladder, the spin bike & finally an easy walk on the treadmill as a cooldown), and finally got in a good stretch & used the foam roller. Took 95 minutes total.
Well it's 6:47, I haven't made dinner yet, I still need to unpack & repack my gym bag, and I haven't even started laundry yet, so I should probably get up off the couch.0 -
Got exercise bottling at work, lifting heavy jugs and boxes. Tomorrow longer day of that...can't wait for end of month!0

Insomnia Friday Night = No energy, no good decision-making on Saturday! Plus grouchy as Oscar... My hubs begged encouraged me to take a nap until I finally passed out for a few hours in the late afternoon.
Yesterday I was the Mayor of Junk Food City. I did not feel good today. Made the big mistake of stepping on the scale this am to see it up a few lbs---just the salt alone in the food I ate yesterday would do it.
Today I stayed home in my pj's all day, played with my son a lot and made a healthy-ish slow cooker dinner. Wore my UP24 and I think I got in 3k steps. Ugh.
I'm going to take advantage of the relative anonymity of MFP and just say that I've been a little blue lately and my energy level has been. Tomorrow I'm going to wake up and take action to be grateful. I know how to act in a way that makes me feel better but I need to take the leap between knowing how to do it and actually doing it.
