It is almost the end of the year. It is time to take a look at what was accomplished in 2014 and make a plan for 2015. Did you have goals in 2014? Did you meet them? What did you learn about yourself? What are your goals for 2015?

For me 2014 was a strange year. I have lost essentially no weight but on the strange side I am okay with that. I battled a nasty case of bronchitis and a bad back injury but managed to maintain within a few pounds of last years weight. I feel much stronger and confident then I did at this time last year. I am learning to love myself for who I am and have learned to not beat myself up with I get a bit off track. I love food and am learning how to let that love of food help me be healthier and make better choices.
2014 accomplishments
- Sub 30 minute 5k (27.58)
- joined a OCR racing team
- fit comfortably in all my size 8 pants
- Ran ~300 miles (or at least will by the end of the year)
- Can do 20 straight, good form full pushups
- Did not gain weight (unless the holidays are really bad)
2015 goals
- Run at least one race (road, OCR, or trail) per month
- Sub 2:30:00 half marathon
- Complete a 20 foot rope climb
- Complete a standard set of monkey bars in a race/training facility
- Weigh less than 160
- Fit into a couple pairs of size 6 shorts I have in the closet from a few summers ago
- Run 500+ miles for the year (treadmill and elliptical miles included)
